Join us at Thomas Balch Library in Leesburg (see map below) on  January 27, 2026 and learn why cemetery preservation is important, how to research your ancestry as well as how to use the vast resources available at Thomas Balch Library. This course begins at 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Complete the form below to sign up.

This is a one-day course from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Lunch will be provided. The main topics being covered during the course are:

1. Why cemetery conservation is important.
2. How to research the history of a cemetery, those buried there, its establishment as well as researching ancestral connections.
3. How to find and use resources within Thomas Balch Library.

Additonal Information:

• There will be a maximum of 25 people in the class
• Course handbook, notebook, and pens will be provided
• You will receive a certificate of completion
